Refund Policy

Effective date: 1 August 2025·Triedge Platform Services Pvt Ltd operating as Lekha Advisory

Our commitment: Lekha Advisory delivers four fixed-fee Startup Advisory services directly. If we fail to deliver what we have promised, you are entitled to a full refund. The conditions for each service are set out clearly below.

1. Scope of this policy

This Refund Policy applies only to the four Startup Advisory services delivered directly by Triedge Platform Services Pvt Ltd (operating as Lekha Advisory):

Startup India Registration & DPIIT Recognition — ₹9,999
ESOP Design, Valuation & Implementation — ₹19,999
Startup Financial Model & Valuation — ₹29,999
Investor Readiness, Due Diligence & Statutory Reports — ₹14,999

This policy does not apply to professional services delivered by empanelled independent professionals (CA, CS, RV, IP, MB). Those services are contracted directly between you and the professional, and Lekha does not charge any fee for the connection. Any disputes arising from those engagements are to be resolved directly between you and the professional.

2. Refund conditions by service

2.1 Startup India Registration & DPIIT Recognition (₹9,999)

Refund	Condition
Full refund (100%)	DPIIT rejects the application due to an error in the information submitted by Lekha — incorrect documentation, incorrect portal entry, or missed filing requirement that was Lekha's responsibility
Full refund (100%)	Work has not commenced within 5 business days of payment and you wish to cancel
No refund	DPIIT rejects the application because your business does not meet the eligibility criteria under the Startup India definition (age, turnover, incorporation type, innovation requirement) — eligibility is assessed by DPIIT, not by Lekha
No refund	Work has already commenced (application drafted, documents reviewed, or portal submission initiated)
No refund	You provided incorrect or incomplete information that led to the rejection, and Lekha submitted what you provided

2.2 ESOP Design, Valuation & Implementation (₹19,999)

Refund	Condition
Full refund (100%)	Work has not commenced within 5 business days of payment and you wish to cancel
50% refund	Work has commenced (pool design or scheme document drafting has begun) but the final scheme document, board resolution template, and grant letter template have not been delivered
No refund	The ESOP scheme document, board resolution, grant letter templates, and ESOP register template have been delivered to you
No refund	You withdraw from the engagement after the Merchant Banker valuation coordination has been initiated

2.3 Startup Financial Model & Valuation (₹29,999)

Refund	Condition
Full refund (100%)	Work has not commenced within 5 business days of payment and you wish to cancel
50% refund	Work has commenced but the financial model has not been delivered (inputs collected, model structure begun, but no deliverable shared)
No refund	The financial model and valuation report have been delivered to you in any form (draft or final)
No refund	You are unable to provide the required business information (revenue, costs, assumptions) required to build the model, and the delay has lasted more than 30 days from payment

2.4 Investor Readiness, Due Diligence & Statutory Reports (₹14,999)

Refund	Condition
Full refund (100%)	Work has not commenced within 5 business days of payment and you wish to cancel
50% refund	Compliance audit has been initiated but the audit report and data room checklist have not been delivered
No refund	The compliance audit report and/or data room checklist have been delivered to you
No refund	You are unable to provide access to company records required to perform the audit, and the delay has lasted more than 30 days from payment

3. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at refunds@lekhaadvisory.com with the following:

Your full name and email address used at the time of purchase
The service for which you are requesting a refund
Your order reference number (included in your order confirmation email)
The reason for the refund request

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and communicate our decision within 7 business days.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method (credit/debit card or bank account) within 7 working days of approval. The credit typically appears in 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

4. Payment gateway transaction charges

Payment processing fees charged by Razorpay or Cashfree (typically 2–3% of the transaction value) are not refundable. These fees are charged by the payment gateway and are not retained by Lekha Advisory. When a refund is processed, the amount refunded will be the service fee paid minus any non-refundable payment gateway charges.

We will clearly state the exact refund amount when communicating our refund decision.

5. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us at refunds@lekhaadvisory.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks bypass our refund process and cause delays. We respond to all bank chargeback disputes with full documentation of the service delivery.

Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent suspension of access to the platform.
